If you are a TCU fan, then you are most likely a part of the Facebook group, Horned Frog Nation. And, you also know that a lot of the friends and family members, of the football team, read and post on the page, too. I’m sure it can be a tough read sometimes as fans can use the page as a place to vent and wallow in their misery during a rough season. TCU has been plagued with injuries, so we’ve gotten to see a lot of new talent on the football field. For the first, in a long time, TCU is deep at the quarterback position. Thank goodness because TCU has had to dig deep as the quarterbacks have gone out due to injury. In years past, the number four quarterback in Texas and number 31 nationally, by Scout.com, would have likely been the starting quarterback for TCU. Unfortunately, he would have to wait his turn.
With Robinson going out first, Collins second, and Rogers not cleared, it was finally Grayson Muehlstein’s chance to play. Muehlstein entered the game in the first quarter in a make or break game. The most important game of the season to the fans and the team. For the fans, beating Baylor meant that the season wasn’t lost entirely. For the players, their hopes for a bowl game were still alive and the Seniors remained undefeated when playing Baylor! For a quarterback who was buried on the depth chart and never threw a meaningful pass in his college career, Muehlstein finally got his deserved chance. He did not disappoint.
