The TCU Horned Frogs travel to Waco this Saturday, November 17, to face the hated Baylor Bears. There is some bad blood between these two football programs. This is a massive game for both teams. The Frogs need to win this one to have a shot at a bowl game. If Baylor wins, they will be bowl eligible. It’s senior day in Waco. They will honor 19 seniors before the 11 a.m. kickoff.
Here are five things to know about playing Baylor.
1. Time of Possession Battle
Baylor Head Coach Matt Rhule is all about controlling the clock. The Bears put a great emphasis on time of possession. The Bears lead the Big 12 and rank 16th nationally with an average time of possession of 32:44 this season. They have 14 scoring drives of 10 or more plays in 2018. The Frogs need to be prepared for the Baylor Bears nickel and dime offensive play calling.
