Iowa State Head Coach Talks Frogs and More

The TCU Horned Frogs host the Iowa State Cyclones, Saturday night, in Ft. Worth.  The game is on ESPNU.  Lee Greenwood is performing at halftime.  It’s family weekend.  The Frogs are defending the Carter and looking to get into the Big 12 win column.  It’s a big game.  Here is what Iowa State Head Coach Matt Campbell had to say about the Horned Frogs and his own Cyclones football team.

The team speed of TCU is something that every opponent has talked about this year.  #2018 FlyingFrogs.

Turnovers change the game, good or bad.  Frog fans know this.

Last year’s starting quarterback, Kyle Kempt, suffered an injury in the first game of the year.  Back up sophomore, Zeb Noland, replaced him and has looked solid.  It will be Noland who gets the start against TCU.  Check out the scouting report for more information on the Cyclones team.

Iowa State’s gigantic 6’7″, 230 pound Tight End is day to day with an injury.  They may have an injured offensive lineman back.

Coach Campbell talks about the difference in this year’s team as opposed to years past.

There has been a lot of talk around the country concerning the new four-game no redshirt rule for the freshman.  Here’s how it has affected Iowa State.
