Turpin Time Breaking Records

KaVontae Turpin is just 19 kickoff return yards short of another Horned Frogs record.  He is now on the verge of surpassing Cory Rodgers career record of 1,747 kickoff return yards, set in 2005.

A few weeks ago, Turpin became the schools all time leader in special teams touchdowns.

Here is the return that put him in the record book for TCU’s all time leader in special teams touchdowns.

KaVontae Turpin owns the process.  At one of Coach Gary Patterson’s recent Radio Shows he talked about how much Turpin “just loves the game”,  and everything about it.  He always has a smile on his face and is ready to play whether it’s practice or a game.  If a flag football game started up in the parking lot, following a hard fought TCU football game, Turpin would be right back out there playing again.
